White Rock is a seaside resort situated fifty kilometers
(30 miles) southeast of Vancouver. It is a 45-minute
drive from downtown Vancouver and five minutes from
the border of Washington State, USA. White Rock is reputed
for its sandy beaches and warm shallow waters, many
hours of sunlight, two and a half kilometer promenade,
heritage pier, historical train station, colorful sidewalk
cafés and many other attractions including tennis
courts, golf courses, hiking trails, bird watching,
sailing, etc.
